Jacey's Dance Recital

Jacey recently had her 1st dance recital (late April)

Here are some cute pictures of her and her dance class.

She did great and didn't even get stage fright.
She loves to sing and dance and had a lot of fun this past year
(from September to April).

Jaceys 1st visit from the tooth fairy

Jacey lost her first tooth about 2 or 3 weeks ago...

here are a few pictures to prove it... she's very proud.

She was worried at first when her tooth was loose and didn't realize it was normal and okay for her to lose her tooth, she quickly changed her mind and started jumping up and down(excitedly) when she learned about the tooth fairy.

We took Jacey and Evan to a construction area near our house and let them check out the construction equipment.

(Evan is 2 weeks away from his second birthday and Jacey will be 5 in about 2 months)

Jacey's 1st day of Pre-school

Last week Jacey had her first day of pre-school on September 2nd. She is so excited and loves to learn and be with friends. She also started dance class this past Monday September 8th ( I will take some dance pictures next class for the blog). She goes to school Tues, Wed, and Thursday from 8:15-11am. Here are some pictures I took the first day of school before she left.

Jacey is about 2 to 2 and a half here. I am going back and forth between doing new pictures and older stuff I want to catch up on, so bare with me if all the blog posts aren't new pictures.

Lake Powell (April 2008)

Here are some pictures from when we went to Lake Powell. We kind of came a different way that Nick remembers going as a kid. The thing is when he was a kid you took this dirt road to the parking lot and the water was pretty much right there, maybe a few yards away. We took the same road parked at the same parking lot and had to hike about a mile or two to get to the water ( because the water levels had gone down so much).
When we got there the water and ground was kind of muddy.
Next time we'll go to main part where everyone is we thought it would be cool to go to a different part that wasn't as busy.

Fathers Day for Nick

Here is the photo shop file I put onto a t-shirt for nick for fathers day.

I put the shirt on Jacey, it was huge, (2xl) and had her go into the bedroom in the morning with the shirt on and say happy fathers day, IT was cute!!!

Evan loves the water and just splashes like crazy.

We will be getting a new outdoor swimming pool across the street and should be finished in the next few weeks, once its ready we will be sure to get some cute pool pics for you.

Visiting Natalie In June

We visited Natalie last week while Nick did some training in Salt Lake for his new job.
This is my first digital scrap booking page...and its all thanks to natalie teaching me while I was there.
Thanks Nat.

She did a photo shoot with the kids together while I was taking a shower and the pictures turned out pretty good, although Evan isn't very smiley (he is getting 2 molars in right now plus 2 other teeth on the bottom) and he hasn't been super happy about it.

We have been exploring a slot canyon not too far from our house. Here are some pics and some pics of the family as well. Can't believe he is almost one. He is walking as well as climbing up and pulling himself onto the couch to sit and climb and try to fall off the side. He is a crazy monkey and doesn't stop moving.

Jacey was a chicken for haloween but she was being goofy and there wasn't a good picture of her in the halloween costume, we might have some video, she said "bac bac trick or treat" because she was a chicken. This was her first year trick or treating, we went to a church party last year in california where she dressed up

It is a beautiful November day in Southern Utah. I'd say its about 65 degrees today. We just went to the doctor for flu shots and immunizations for Evan.

Evan is now 18 pounds at 7 months old, he is walking along the furniture and pulling himself up on everything boy is he a handful.

Jacey is 33 pounds at 3 and a half years old. She is learning to write her letters fairly well and is starting to learn the difference between uppercase and lowercase letters. She talks about Bethany a lot she had fun with her in July and wants to see her soon. Jacey is excited about all the new cousins veing born. I show her pictures of the new babies on the computer and tell her what the baby's name is and she says oh, thats a good name.

Below is a video of Evan at about 5 months old when he was just begining to start trying to crawl, just before he actually learned to crawl. We will try to update with some halloween and other recent photos soon.
